Rebranding

CLIENT: Island Pacific

During the very early months of the pandemic, Filipino Grocery supermarket chain Island Pacific came to us to do an overhaul of their existing brand identity. The brief was to take their brand towards a more sophisticated and modern take on what an Asian supermarket could look like. The founder saw their brand as being able to be on par with the likes of Whole Foods in terms of the level of brand perception. Everything from the in store interiors, to the take away bags, to their website was completely overhauled. In addition to the store’s new brand look, we were also tasked with creating the branding for their new private label line of goods, which run the gambit of what you would typically find in an Asian market…noodles, specialty drinks, snacks, and ingredients were just some of the goods that have, and continue to roll out as a part of their private label. Below is a small sampling of the products, branding style guide, and a few images of the new in store interiors we designed for this growing supermarket’s updated brand identity.
